Demerara is a golden brown coloured sugar which has large homogeneous sparkling crytals, a crunchy, sticky texture and a rich aroma owing to the presence of cane molasses enrobing each crystal.

It has a distinctive flavour and is ideal for sweetening coffee, sprinkling on cereals and as a crunchy topping for cakes as well as fresh fruits.
